APEM PANGGANG INDONESIAN FOOD RECIPES




       Apem, or also known by the name of the country Appam asalanya India is a traditional snack made from rice flour that is allowed to stand overnight by mixing eggs, milk, sugar and a little salt tape and then baked or steamed. It looked like a pancake but thicker.


 According to legend, this cake was brought Ki Ageng Gribig which is a descendant of King UB returned from his journey from the holy land. He brought souvenirs 3 pieces of food from there. However, because of too little, apem cake is remade by his wife. Once finished, the cookies are then distributed to local residents. At the residents scrambling to get Ki Ageng Gribig chanted "yaqowiyu" which means "God grant strength."

 
The food is then known by the public as apem cake, which is derived from the Arabic adaptation "affan" which means forgiveness. The aim is that the public is also encouraged always pleading to the Creator. Gradually the habit of 'handing' cake apem continued on occasions salvation ahead of Ramadan.



 
Materials :

        

         250 g rice flour
         100 g of corn starch
         1 egg btr
         400 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
         175 g sugar
         1/2 bks instant yeast
         1 1/4 teaspoon salt

     

How to Make a Cake Bake Apem :

         

1.First, mix rice flour, corn starch, sugar, and yeast, then add too little by little until the dough can be formed. Knead until the sugar dissolves and the dough becomes smooth.
          

2.Furthermore keplok (such stirring) dough for 15 minutes while the rest of the milk that is added.
          

3.Add the eggs and mix well, then let stand for 1 hour.
          

4.Prepare a medium roasting pan and heat on low heat apem.
          

5.Pour 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the mold, and bake until half cooked, then turning the top side of cake down.
          

6.When the dough is cooked or mistaken enough, please remove and let cool before serving.
